States of Jersey Mapping Service Team

The new States of Jersey Mapping Service Team is being set up and will be responsible for the quality and the currency of the States of Jersey Mapping.

It will be dedicated to the updating of the various layers of the mapping data, whether roads, land parcels or buildings.

Led by Kevin Eloury, the team will use ESRI's Arc Editor and ArcSDE products to maintain this most important data in a structured and corporate format. The new Corporate system will be the single source of all Base Map data, together with data for the arcitectural data users.

Simon Langlois is also joining the team.

New systems and processes will be introduced to provide maximum data update intelligence.
